3- Making play-dough with my children or with my class has always been a fun time.  Reading the recipe,  measuring the ingredients and letting them work the dough in through their hands is a wonderful fine-motor skill for children to accomplish.

I can remember a time  in my own childhood growing up with the smell of  flour and salt  in the air.  And oh how I loved to squish the soft wet dough, squeezing it between my fingers!  My mother was into organic foods, dyes and Eco-friendly crafts!  So, we always added fun natural colors from pomegranates, beets, carrots, lemon and cinnamon extracts!  Today, there is even more fun in the kitchen , especially, when making these fun dough, slime and clay recipes!  Here are a few of our favorite blogs to find great recipes for play-dough and slime.
